Marie Adam-Leenaerdt
Marie Adam-Leenaerdt's SS24 collection opened Fashion Week in grand style on Monday, September 25th in Paris. This season, the designer offers us a bold blend of loose and form-fitting styles.
One of the most striking features of this collection is its color palette, favoring simplicity with neutral shades such as black, white, brown, and sand. However, some pops of color, including sky blue, pink, and even a single saffron yellow top, thus bringing a subtle touch of vibrancy to the overall look.
A surprising element of the collection is the appearance of a wavy pool pattern, which is featured in two of the presented looks. A one-piece leopard-print swimsuit also made an appearance, although its connection to the overall collection remains enigmatic.
One of the standout pieces in the collection is look 29, distinguished by its imposing volume and stripes that wrap around the body up to the neck.
Interesting cuts are notable for some looks: the offset armholes at the front add a touch of originality, although it may evoke some previously seen trends, creating an almost distorted effect of the arm position on the body.
An undeniable highlight of the collection is look 17, an all-black ensemble that creates a body-hugging effect with a bow as a collar.
