From an insider perspective, we can tell there are a lot of exceptions once fame and money are involved, COVID-19 or not. What can restrain us, mortals, from acting like supreme beings really is nothing for our beloved celebrities. But there’s another layer to that when it comes to high-fashion. After years of incredible efforts to create elitism and cultivate secrecy, there’s a common belief that what happens within the industry will never reach the masses. Worse, it’s been proven that you’re rarely effectively held accountable for what you do to those plebeians. You probably remember the Alexander Wang or Living Cool affairs that occurred a few months ago. They both, of course, met a dead-end.

Thanks to the Internet, we now have ways to access and provide unbiased informations. The problem is that we tend to act and think too periodically. Few are those who’d actually stop buying from controversial brands.
